Build the workflows and integrations that connect a client's tools and remove manual work.
About the role
You'll build the automations at the heart of most ARJD projects: moving data between systems, processing documents and emails, triggering actions and alerting people when something needs a decision.
Some builds use platforms such as n8n or Make; others need custom code. You'll choose the simplest approach that will keep working once the client relies on it.
What you'll do
- Build workflows and integrations using APIs, webhooks and automation platforms
- Write scripts and small services in TypeScript or Python where platforms fall short
- Design for failure: retries, duplicate protection, logging and alerts
- Test with real client data before go-live
- Document builds so they can be supported and handed over
What we're looking for
- Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks and JSON
- Production experience with n8n, Make, Zapier or similar, and with code
- Care about edge cases and what happens when something goes wrong
- The ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical clients
